The Zouma effort was not over the line. Fabregas was offside. Matic committed two yellow card offences

Nothing remotely controversial as all decisions were called correctly

The referee cost us three points against Leicester. We were the better side for all but ten minutes and they should have finished the first half without a keeper

If you can't see exactly what Sakho is bringing to this team and our current form, then you may as well give up.

It's pissing me off reading and hearing about these decisions that apparently went against Chelsea. Am I missing something, as I can see 3 incidents that a lot of media are questioning, which were all called 100% spot on. We've had calls against us, particularly against Leicester, which were up for arguing, but there is no argument to be had about yesterday.

This is now officially Chelsea's worst start in their 12 year history.

Great call, to anyone who knows little about the game it would go unnoticed and yesterday he didn't really have chances but the shift he put in was undoubtedly the catalyst to us winning. They could not rest on their laurels and that's what you have to do.

Our team after hippo head has been transformed into an exciting hard working outfit that everyone in it should be proud of it all.

Bernie...that is comical. Chelsea are learning what it like to be on the other side when a top four team get all the decisions....

Sakho wins you so much possession, his running in the channels forces full backs to put the ball out for throw ins and corners, that's so important against the big teams, absolute baller of a player.

AC Sakho...2 completely different types of player...

Horses for courses...

I trust Bilic to use them both and get the best out of them...

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread FT 2-1
I like AC a lot and last season I would have definitely thought he was our best striker. I think he's our most talented without a doubt
But the way Sakho has led the line this season has been very impressive, he's run the channels and held the ball up really well.

Looks like a right pain for defences.

Think we're lucky to have two excellent strikers who can both do a job by themselves or in tandem.

Saying AC isn't good enough to start games is ridiculous on top form he's a very good player. Who can bring our attacking midfielders into play and I would be just as happy with him starting

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread FT 2-1
Sakho will never be a top PL striker, apart from the fact that he doesn't score enough goals he isn't intelligent enough and isn't calm enough in possession, which is no doubt why he isn't hghly rated within the game.

I'm not saying he's shit, but he is limited.

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread FT 2-1
Sakho is streets ahead of Carroll. Works his nuts off, is quick and intelligent. Needs more goals but it's his running and selflessness which is creating the opportunists. That's the way we play, that's not Carrolls game. Carroll however is ideal to come on late in games when we need a battering ram option and, if fit, there's never been any doubt of his ability to get goals. The way he is being used is hugely effective so far. Carroll, Sakho, Zarate, Valencia, Moses and Jelavic. Options galore .

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread FT 2-1
CHL - If you say so. IMO Carrol is a better player than Sakho when he is fully fit, if you disagree that's fine, but why be a prick about it?

Without him we would have possibly lost to Palace last week, drew with Chelsea and he even had a hand in the goal against Norwich, and he's hardly been on the pitch. Reading Bilic's comments on Carrol I reckon he agrees with me and I can see him starting games soon enough.

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread FT 2-1
Dangerous to underestimate the contribution that Sakho makes to the team. His movement, efrort and positional sense is immense. Maybe he should be scoring more but he brings a lot to the team that AC doesn't have. Great to have options though.

CHL - Carroll at his fearsome best is streets ahead of Sakho.

Private Dancer = Billi Mucklow?

AC should not be a starter, he only impacts if he comes on against tired defenders later in the game.

We also have to change how we play to accommodate him (which works for 20 minutes but not for 90. Ask Allardyce...)

Re: West Ham v Chelsea - Official Match Thread FT 2-1
This is how chelseafconline saw this afternoons events.

‘The Blues were beaten in cruel circumstances at Upton Park this afternoon having had to play the whole second half with 10 men.

After West Ham had taken an early lead through Mauro Zarate, Kurt Zouma’s header looked to have crossed the line, only for the decision to go the home side’s way, before Cesc Fabregas beat Adrian but saw the goal ruled out for offside when he appeared to have been played onside by the retreating West Ham defenders. Nemanja Matic was then sent off on the stroke of the break for a second bookable offence.

The 10 men rallied impressively however and were the better side in the second half. Gary Cahill equalised 10 minutes after the break with his first goal of the season, but Andy Carroll’s late header, which came against the run of play, won it for the hosts

Disagree with comma, any luck going in the game was balanced out.

Only one observation to add to all the positive comments already made, having now watched the replay in full, that is to heap praise on Collins who had a blinder imo. 2 or 3 times today his reading of the play to nick the ball in midfield with clean crisp tackles would have made Mooro smile.

How the fuck can you moan or griping after we've beaten the league champions out if site; and spat in the hole.

How many times have we been turned over by these rent boys.
